Susan and David Truesdell, six-year owners of the Purple Bean coffee shop at 1315 W. 7th St. purchased the former Bean Me Up Coffee and Tea at 1655 Robb Drive.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed. The new store measures 1,345 feet, adding to the approximately 650 feet at the initial location. The Truesdells also used to run a small location on Sparks Boulevard but Susan Truesdell says she sold that operation the same day she signed a 10-year lease on the new space. Pat Larsen, formerly of Dickson Realty, brokered the lease.
