State revokes contractors' licenses

The contractors licenses of Creative Land Concepts and Silver Meadows Landscaping, both of Reno, have been revoked by the Nevada State Contractors Board.

The board said Creative Landscape abandoned a project and violated several other requirements. It was ordered to pay $4,350 restitution to the homeowner and pay the contractors board's investigative costs.

Silver Meadows Landscaping failed to pay for materials or services, misrepresented significant information and failed to establish financial responsibility, the board said. It was ordered to pay $11,054 in restitution and a fine of $2,250, and reimburse the state for money it was paid from the Residential Recovery Fund.
