ProLogis plans to begin construction of a major industrial building at Tahoe Reno Industrial Center as soon it sees signed leases on a similar building next door.
ProLogis, the world's largest owner and developer of distribution facilities, has completed construction of a 601,750-square-foot building at the industrial center east of Sparks.
The building either can be leased to one user or divided for use by several tenants, said ProLogis Vice President Brandon Page.
The company is ready to move on a similar building on an already graded 26-acre site next door once leases are signed on the first building, Page said.
ProLogis' holdings at TRIC expanded after its acquisition last month of the portfolio of Reno's DP Partners. The acquired buildings include a new 300,000-foot-structure of which 180,000 square feet has been leased to AH Foam.
