The Academy for Career Education in Sparks has received a $25,700 grant from the Nevada State Commission on Construction Education.
The money will pay for an estimating component of the school's Construction Program. Funds will be used for the purchase of estimating software, computers, and a computer cart and printer.
The academy focuses on training for construction-related careers.
