A collaborative effort between the University of Nevada, Reno, Center for Regional Studies and the City of Reno's Redevelopment Agency has won a first-place award in community development from the University Economic Development Association.
The two agencies worked together to create a redevelopment district that helped attract a Cabela's store to Reno.
