New2u Computers, a nonprofit program of Disability Resources in Sparks, will conduct a computer drive on Jan. 6 at Best Buy stores in Reno, Sparks and Carson City.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to collect computers, laptops, monitors, printers, cell phones, books, software and other computer related equipment, whether it works or not. Donations are tax-deductible, and Best Buy will provide discount coupons to donors. New2u Computers refurbishes the equipment and gets it back into the community.
