Howard Stevenson has been named vice president, business development, for Meridian Gold in Reno.
Stevenson previously worked 15 years in business development and other management positions with Gold Fields Limited.
He is a graduate of the University of Dublin, Trinity College, with a degree in mechanical engineering and also earned a master's in business administration at New York University's Stern School of Business.
