Patrick Crawford has joined GameTech International in Reno as vice president of business affairs.
Crawford previously was vice president of gaming technology and service for BMM International.
He also has worked as a senior systems engineer for Gaming Laboratories International and as director of electronic gaming regulatory affairs for Harrah's Entertainment.
Brian Newman has been hired as vice president of engineering by Jeff Codega Planning & Design Inc. in Reno.
Newman has 14 years experience in professional engineering. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from California State University, Chico.
