Gerhardt and Berry Construction of Sparks won a $93,540 contract from the City of Sparks last week for rehabilitation and cleaning of the Baring Boulevard culvert on the north Truckee drain.
The drain is full of sediment and debris from the New Years Eve flood of 2005.
