Griffin is the wife of former Reno Mayor Jeff Griffin. The couple recently returned to the Reno area after spending time in Oakland, Calif., and Bend, Ore., and traveling to Guam, Saipan, and the Marshall Islands during his term as regional director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
