L. Lance Gilman Commercial Services has been granted a Federal license to operate its own railroad at Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.
Officials say that by year's end they can switch current tenants using Union Pacific to the new Tahoe Reno Railroad. The developers are hiring a company to bring in engines and personnel to operate the rail line.
Currently the tracks at TRIC are all on the West side of four-lane USA Parkway. There are no plans to bring the rail line across the expressway.
