Westcon Group Inc., a distributor of technology equipment, said last week it's opened a 38,000-square-foot warehouse at 880 North Hills Blvd.
The company based at Tarrytown, N.Y., didn't disclose employment figures for the new operation. The company opened the center to speed deliveries to its West Coast customers, said Bernie Kelley, vice president of operations. It also expects to reduce the cost of inbound freight from its suppliers.
