Realife Marketing buys R Life magazine

Realife Marketing and Publishing Inc. purchased R Life magazine from Vince Pierce who launched the publication in July. Realife co-publishers Jackie Shelton and Joe Hansen are fourth generation Nevadans.

R Life distributes 25,000 copies by direct mail to select neighborhoods, at Sundance bookstore and in kiosks, says Shelton.

"The magazine is a celebration of everything that's wonderful and unique about northern Nevada," she says.

Shelton was hired last year to start up the new publication. She's also a partner in Washoe Family, sent to families of children in the Washoe County School District.
