The Nevada Association of Employers has been approved to provide continuing education classes that lead to certification through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
The association plans to expand its class offerings for human resource specialists. Currently, it regularly offers courses for HR professionals in workers compensation, the Family and Medical Leave Act, workplace safety, discrimination and harassment, the Americans With Disabilities Act and proper retention of records.
