Wind Energy America Inc, a company headquartered at Eden Prairie, Minn., said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it's no longer involved with sales of condominiums at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno.
The company was to be paid $15,000 a month so long as it sold an average of 1.5 units a month. But Wind Energy said it's sales efforts fell short.
The company continues to own an equity stake equal to less than 1 percent of the stock of privately held Grand Sierra Resort Corp.
