Ralph C. Smith has been named executive vice president of Valley Construction Co. in Reno. He previously was vice president and chief operating officer of the company.
Before joining Valley Construction this year, Smith was a senior vice president of UPA Group and had been vice president of operations for the Osborne Construction Co. of Washington and Alaska.
