State suspends Reno contractor's license

The contractors license of East Slope Builders of Reno was suspended for 60 days by the Nevada State Contractors Board last week.

The board said the contractor failed to pay for materials or services, demonstrated substandard workmanship, failed to comply with the terms of a contract and contracted with an unlicensed person.

East Slope Builders also was order to pay a $4,000 fine a $3,831 in restitution to a homeowner.
