George Peek, chief executive officer and president of ERGS Properties in Reno, received the 2007 Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Realtors the highest honor of the national professional group.
Peek is one of 70 people nationwide ever to win the award, and he is the first from Nevada.
Under his leadership, ERGS has developed and managed about 700 apartment homes in the Reno area. Peek also is the chief executive officer of three development companies in the North Valleys.
He has headed local and state associations of Realtors and serves on the board of the National Association of Realtors.
