Wren Ballard, a nurse practitioner, joined Sierra Neurosurgery Group and will work in the group's main office at 85 Kirman St.
She previously worked 11 years in intensive care facilities.
Ballard earned bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno.
