Tray Abney has been named director of government relations for the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce.
Abney, who will join the chamber Nov. 1, currently serves as legislative director for Gov. Jim Gibbons. He earlier worked at Gibbons' congressional office in Washington, D.C.
He holds a master's degree in political management from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Missouri State University.
