Marcus Liem and Ruth Miller have joined the staff of the Nevada Disability and Advocacy Law Center in Sparks.
Liem has been named communications director for the nonprofit, which is a federally-mandated protection and advocacy system for individuals with disabilities. He worked as program and community relations director for Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful.
Liem earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Miller will serve as a rights attorney for NDALC. He worked as an educator, school administrator and deputy district attorney.
Miller is a graduate of McGeorge School of Law and earned bachelor's and master's degrees from UNR.
