Mexivada Mining Corp. of Vancouver, British Columbia, said last week it signed a 20-year lease on a group of mining claims in Elko County.
The claims 11 miles northwest of the Midas Mine were leased from Carl Pescio of Elko and Richard Redfern, Mexivada's president. Lease payments will total $10,000 annually in the five years, then increasing to $50,000 by the 20th year.
