Garrett Smith has been hired as a safety coordinator for Granite Construction's Nevada operations.
Smith previously worked to develop and oversee safety procedures for Oldcastle Materials, where he assisted with the creation and maintenance of safety procedures.
He graduated from Montana Tech University with a bachelor's degree in business information technology and an associate's degree in occupational safety.
