Maarten van Kruyssen

Maarten van Kruyssen has been hired as executive pastry chef at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.

Van Kruyssen, who has worked in bakeries since he was 15 and attended a hospitality school in Holland, previously worked at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Fess Parker's Red Lion Resort in Santa Barbara, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort and Casino and the Resort at Squaw Creek in Squaw Valley.
