Two longtime Reno-area distribution companies Brightpoint Inc. at 5360 Capital Court, and Entertainment Distribution Company at 4875 Air Center Circle are leaving the area.
Entertainment Distribution Company has been in northern Nevada under several different names for 18 years. EDC, which ships music CDs, will vacate 100,000 square feet and lay off 10.
Brightpoint, which will vacate approximately 155,000 square feet, has been in the area since 1999. The company distributes wireless devices and aftermarket accessories.
Brightpoint executives could not be reached to provide further details.
