Salsa club experience makes arrival in Reno

Cafe Tabu, a rotating salsa-themed nightclub experience hosted by Truckee River Salsa, will be launched Saturday at Club Bliss at 535 E. Fourth St.

William "BB" Flanders, director of Reno Truckee Salsa, will provide basic salsa dance lessons to jump-start the evening.

"With more than 120 students currently enrolled in weekly salsa lessons in the Reno/Truckee area, we feel confident that Cafe Tabu will also be embraced by anyone that has heard about this exotic blend of Afro-Cuban-Caribbean music," he says.
