Four northern Nevada contractors have been disciplined by the Nevada State Contractors Board.
The license of Ford & Sons Floor Co. of Sparks was revoked. The board said the company didn't inform state officials of a bankruptcy filing and failed to respond to an inquiry from the board.
The license of Advanced Construction of Reno was revoked after the board found that the company's work was substandard and the company didn't comply with an order to correct its work. The company also was fined $4,000 and investigative costs and told to reimburse $41,637 to homeowners.
The license of Spriet & Sons of Winnemucca was revoked after the board found the company abandoned a construction project, diverted funds and acted outside the scope of its license.
Jalumo Construction of Winnemucca was reprimanded for failing to list details of its contractors license as well as the information about subcontractors on a contract or proposal.
