Re-Bath franchisees expand

The owners of the Re-Bath franchise in northern Nevada have expanded with the purchase of the Re-Bath franchise for Spokane, Wash.

Alan Hansen, president of Re-Bath of Northern Nevada and owner of the franchises with Michael Laub, said the demographics of the Spokane market are similar to those of the Reno area.

Re-Bath, which specializes in bathtub and shower remodels, began operation in Spokane last week.

Front Row Media acquired

Jeff Haas and Tim Atwell have purchased FrontRow Media from founder Guy Walsh, who struggled to find clients and reach profitability with the fledgling mobile advertising company.

Haas says he and Atwell will focus almost exclusively on ad sales, with a bookkeeper managing back-end minutia. The company also will employ two or three drivers.

He says FrontRow cut its ad rates 66 percent and plans to park its advertising van with large backlit screens at special events, grand openings and University of Nevada, Reno athletic events.

Court hires Offsite Data Depot

Offsite Data Depot of Carson City won a contract to provide records storage service for the Nevada Supreme Court.

Ferrous Supply buys land

Kevin Fegert of Ferrous Supply has purchased an additional two acres at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, paying $128,177.

Two years ago, Fegert moved his company from Reno to a 3.25-acre site in TRI. Ferrous Supply distributes air, hydraulic and other types of system filters. Another division, Olympic Services, provides a dirt-hauling services.

Frame Architecture moves

Frame Architecture Inc. has moved into new offices at 255 Peckham Lane, Suite 4, and launched a new Web site at www.framearchitecture.com.

Current projects for the company headed by Jeff Frame include a remodel at the Silver Springs Conservation Camp, a 10,000-square-foot corporate training tenant improvement for TriNet in South Meadows, six new urban loft apartments in the Reno Regency in Reno, Canyon Edge Housing development in Caughlin Ranch, a custom home at the Silver Oaks golf course in Carson City, and a maintenance facility at St. James Village on Mount Rose.

Learning center plans growth

Center for Advanced Learning Inc., which has operated a learning center in Reno since 2003, plans to open a Carson City location.

The company, which provides learning services for children from kindergarten through high school, said it plans to open the Carson City location, its second, in early autumn.

Bank passes milestone

Carson River Community Bank in Minden said last week its total assets have passed the $42 million mark.

The bank was chartered in 2006 and recently opened an administrative office in Gardnerville.

Center wins accreditation

Center for Hope of the Sierras, a Reno center for treatment of eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia, has earned three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. The center is owned by CRC Health Group Corp. of Cupertino, Calif.
