Trex Company, a maker of composite decking and fencing that operates a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing center in Fernley, said last week it has laid off 30 salaried employees due to reduced demand for its products.
The company, headquartered at Winchester, Va., did not specify how many workers at its Fernley plant were let go.
