Marshall Newman, an appraiser with Sierra Appraisal Services, and Steve Tapogna, director of real estate/property management for Renown Health, received the Bill Kohl Humanitarian of the Year Award from CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada.
Newman is a longtime volunteer and former president of the nonprofit that provides medical resources to people in need. Tapogna, a volunteer for 15 years, has chaired numerous fundraising efforts for the group.
