Michael A. Brandt has been named chief financial officer of Reno-based Valley Construction Co.
He previously worked as director of finance and administration and chief financial officer of a Nevada earthmoving contractor.
Brandt earned a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from California State University, Chico.
