Chris Chrystal, media relations manager for the Nevada Commission on Tourism, has been named to the hall of fame of the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Others honored by the society include:
* Chuck Allen, a trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol, was recognized with the group's Mark Twain Community Service Award for his work with the media.
* Tiffany Frisch East, vice president/director of public relations for The Glenn Group, winner of the Gold Spike Award for her work in public service activities to benefit the community.
* Don Butterfield, director of communications for Renown Health, recognized with the Mark Curtis, Sr. Award for his work on behalf of he public
