United starts work on facility for Guard

United Construction Co. of Reno said last week it started work on a $4 million facility for the Nevada Air National Guard at the Reno International Airport.

The 14,802-square-foot building is scheduled for completion in May.

Designed by Hershenow + Klippenstein Architects of Reno, it includes a vehicle maintenance facility, protection bays with vehicle lifts and lube equipment, and a detached outdoor facility for parking.
