R&K Homes LLC, and Reynen & Bardis

Communities Nevada Inc.was disciplined by

the Nevada State Contractors Board for failing

to pay for materials and services, diversion of

funds and for participating in a prohibited act.

R&K Homes and Reynen and Bardis

Communities were ordered to provide a current

financial statement, pay investigative costs and

pay Peninsula Floors $95,000, Capital Drywall

$66,420 and H.M. Byars $194,000. The license

was suspended and its limit lowered to

$750,000.

The board also cited four other northern

Nevada contractors.Visions Concrete Design

LLC of Sparks was cited for failing to comply

with a board order.Vision's license was suspended,

and it was ordered to pay investigative

costs, provide a bond and current financial

statement and proof of monthly payments to

White Cap Construction Co.

Capitol Overhead Door Inc. of Carson City

failed to comply with notices to correct, failed

to include the monetary license limit and

license number on a contract, and failed to

establish financial responsibility. Capitol

Overhead Door was fined $700, ordered to pay

investigative costs, provide a current financial

statement and pay a homeowner $1,192.

Bills Paving Designs of Reno was cited for

disregarding building laws, failure to comply

with the terms of a contract, failure to include

its monetary license limit and license number,

failure to comply with a notice to correct, to discharge

a lien and to establish financial responsibility.

Bill's Paving Designs was fined $3,000,

told to full restitution to all damaged parties

and reimburse the Board. Its license was

revoked.
