Retail building in Meadowood area acquired

A 10,000-square-foot building at 5925 S. Virginia St. that's leased by a party retailer has been sold for $2.125 million.

The Chance Family 2004 Trust purchased the building from the Newlin family, said Brian Armon, a principal with Trinity Commercial Real Estate who represented the seller.

Party America, a national retailer of party supplies, leases the building.
