A.J. "Bud" Hicks, a partner in the law firm of McDonald Carano Wilson in Reno, has been appointed by Gov. Jim Gibbons to a panel that will oversee implementation of the recommendations of the California-Nevada Tahoe Basin Fire Commission.
Hicks is president of the Glenbrook Homeowners Association and served on the fire commission.
