Denise Oliver, owner of Playful Potter in Sparks, won the Create for the Cure Member Award from the Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association.
The award recognized a piece of pottery art developed by Oliver and Tabatha Wade, the store's manager, and sold as a fundraiser for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
