Six healthcare professionals from northern Nevada were recognized for service to the long-term care profession during the Nevada Health Care Association's annual conference.
Recognized were:
* Michelle Blomquist, a certified nursing assistant at Carson City Convalescent.
* Sandy Krajawski, a certified nursing assistant at Highland Manor in Elko.
* Janet Foster, a dietician for Life Care in Reno.
* Connie Bill, minimum data set coordinator for Evergreen in Carson City.
* Melanie Provost, a social worker for College Park Rehab in Reno.
* Melissa Allen, activities director for Mission Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carson City.
