Michel Bazinet has resigned from the board of directors of Reno-based Altair Nanotechnologies Inc.
Doug Ellsworth, vice president of Altair's life sciences and performance materials businesses, also has resigned.
The publicly held company said neither departure was the result of a disagreement over Altair's operations, polices or practices. Bazinet said he needs to devote more time to his other business interests.
