Michonne Ascuaga, chief executive officer of John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, has joined Northern Nevada Medical Center's Board of Governors.
She brings more than 25 years of hospitality/tourism experience to the board.
Ascuaga holds a masters in business administration from Stanford University, and a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University.
