Michelle Martin has been named director of sales and marketing for High Pointe Event Catering, a Truckee company that does business in the Reno-Tahoe region.
Martin most recently served as project marketing and sales operations manager for S & P Destination Properties in Porto Cupecoy, St. Maarten. She also has worked for S & P Destination Properties at The Chateau, South Lake Tahoe.
She earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from San Francisco State University.
