Yukon-Nevada Gold Corp., operator of the Jerritt Canyon mine north of Elko, said last week it struck a deal to process ores from the Gold Hill mine in southern Idaho at the Jerritt Canyon mill.
Gold Hill Reclamation and Mining Corp. is trucking an average of 800 tons of ore daily from the Idaho Mine to Jerritt Canyon, and Yukon-Nevada is processing the ore at a cost of $88 a ton.
