Roger Ashby has been named vice president of finance for Advanced Refining Concepts LLC of Sparks.
Ashby, who worked in banking for more than 35 years, most recently was executive vice president and regional president of Nevada First Bank.
He also has worked for Nevada State Bank and First Interstate Bank and was a captain in the U.S. Army.
Ashby earned a bachelor's degree biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and graduated from the University of Washington's Pacific Coast Banking School.
