David Reichert has been named publisher of M.D. News, a magazine that provides professional and lifestyle information to physicians and surgeons in Reno, Carson City and the Lake Tahoe area.
Reichert previously worked as local sales manager for Bicoastal Media at Ukiah, Calif. He also has held sales positions with Reno Radio Representatives and with companies in California.
He earned a degree in mass communications at California State University, Chico, in 1974.
