Evan Beavers has been named Nevada attorney for injured workers, a state government position that represents injured workers in litigation seeking workers' compensation benefits.
Beavers, who previously worked in private practice in Minden, earned his law degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of New Mexico.
He succeed Nancyann Leeder in the position.
