Linda Ferris, vice chair of cancer services at Renown Health, will be appointed as the new chair for a member organization steering committee for the American College of Surgeons. She will serve a three-year term on the committee.
Ferris also is co-author with Veronica Decker of a newly published book, "Coping With Cancer: A Patient Pocket Book of Thoughts, Advice, and Inspiration for the Ill."
