Marcia Conforti, Angie Thomas and Mark Smith

Marcia Conforti, Angie Thomas and Mark Smith have been named to executive positions in the new northeast Nevada region of Nevada State Bank.

Conforti, Thomas and Smith previously worked for Great Basin Bank before Nevada State Bank purchased the institution after Great Basin failed.

Conforti was named senior vice president and regional manager for the retail division of the Nevada State Bank region. She previously worked four years as manager of the downtown Elko branch of Great Basin.

Thomas will head the Nevada State Bank business banking team in Elko, Winnemucca and Fallon. She previously managed a commercial loan portfolio and oversaw Small Business Administration loans for Great Basin.

Smith was named sales and service program coordinator. He previously worked five years as sales and marketing director for Great Basin Bank.
