State disciplines five contractors

The Nevada State Contractors Board has revoked the licenses of a northern Nevada contractor and disciplined two others. Two more contractors were issued citations for contracting without a license.

The board revoked the license of Alee Enterprises Inc., which does business as B Daniel Door & Hardware in Sparks.

The company failed to establish financial responsibility, participated in a prohibited activity and didn't respond to requests from state officials, the contractors board said.

The license of Baylocq Construction Inc. of Reno, meanwhile, was suspended by the board.

The board said Baylocq Construction didn't establish financial responsibility and didn't comply with a request from the board. The company also was ordered to pay Unlimited Concrete $24,650.

Yount Construction of Reno was fined $775 and reprimanded by the board for failure to comply with a written citation.

Two contractors were issued criminal citations for contracting without a license.

Timothy P. Dryer, who does business as Capitol Overhead Door Inc., was cited after he bid on a door installation job. The board said Dryer's contractors license was revoked in April.

Gustavo Garcia Padilla was cited after he bid for the installation of pavers.
