Alan Shepherd

Alan Shepherd has been selected as the state lead for the Bureau of Land Management's wild horse and burro program in Nevada. Shepherd is currently the BLM Wyoming state lead for the program.

Shepherd has worked for the BLM since 1989, initially as a range conservationist. He also worked on the wild horse program and as a supervisory natural resource specialist.

He replaces Susie Stokke, who took a wild horse and burro specialist position with the National Wild Horse and Burro Program Office.
