Women interested in careers in construction and related fields will participate in hands-on exhibits at the annual free Building Women Exploration Fair March 27 at the TMCC/IGT Applied Technology Center, 475 Edison Way.
Representatives of the Western Apprenticeship Coordinators Association will be available to discuss apprenticeships in the building trades. Also available will be representatives of NV Energy, Truckee Meadows
Water Authority and the Truckee Meadows Community College automotive and machining programs.
Registration forms are available at both Reno and Sparks JobConnect offices, online at www.buildingtradejobs.org or by calling 825-6866. Pre-registration is requested by March 13.
